Job Summary
Diamond Medical Laboratories is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Evening Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our team in Owings Mills, Maryland. As an Evening MLT, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of laboratory tests and results. Responsibilities
- Perform various laboratory tests, including chemistry, hematology, and microbiology, to analyze patient specimens and generate accurate results
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure seamless specimen processing and testing, and maintain accurate records of test results and patient information
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of laboratory procedures, protocols, and regulations to ensure compliance with quality control standards
- Utilize laboratory information systems to accurately record and report test results, and maintain patient confidentiality
- Participate in quality control and assurance activities to maintain laboratory accreditation and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Work closely with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely test results, and contribute to optimal patient care
