Job Summary

Interventional Radiology CL performs specialized radiographic and interventional procedures in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. The position provides patient education, produces high-quality diagnostic images, supports safe and efficient workflow, and maintains accurate documentation. The role requires day-shift availability and participation in weeknight and weekend call coverage.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Certificate or diploma from an approved or accredited Radiologic Technology program; national certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; state licensure by the applicable regulatory agency, if required; advanced specialty certification by the applicable accrediting body, if required, within 18 months of hire; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; effective communication and human relations skills; ability to analyze data and solve problems.
• Preferred Qualifications: Additional related education or experience.
• Schedule: Day shift, 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Performs diagnostic and interventional radiographic procedures, educates patients and families, prepares images and documentation for interpretation, administers approved medications and radiopharmaceuticals as applicable, performs equipment quality control, maintains radiation safety, and supports department workflow. Cardiac catheterization scrub skills are required, including the ability to scrub and pan the table simultaneously. Weeknight and weekend call coverage is required. The role may involve directing the activities of students and support staff and requires frequent standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching, and stretching.
