Cornerstone of Rhinebeck, a short-term, inpatient chemical dependency treatment program for adults, is seeking Full Time and Part time Substance Abuse Counselors to work directly with patients. As a vital member of our treatment team, you will provide individual and group counseling services to help individuals overcome addiction and achieve long-term recovery.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to patients
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and primary clinicians
- Conduct assessments and screenings to identify patients' needs and develop treatment plans
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress and treatment plans
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay current with best practices and program developments
Requirements
- Must be CASAC-T, CASAC, CASAC2, CASAC Advanced Counselor, or CASAC Master Counselor
- Experienced in group and individual counseling
- Computer literate
- CPR Certification
- Experience with electronic medical records is a plus
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
*Sign on bonus only for Full Time employment. $500 first paycheck then $1500 paid after 6 monht of full time employment. Must have a CASAC or higher credential to qualify. CASAC-T do not qualify for the sign on bonus.
