DESCRIPTION
Cornerstone Caregiving is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Persian/Farsi-speaking caregiver to provide in-home care for a senior client in the Carmel Valley (92130) area.
Fluency in Persian/Farsi is highly preferred to help provide comfortable and effective communication with the client.
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with personal care, mobility, and transfers as needed
- Prepare meals and encourage hydration
- Provide medication reminders
- Assist with light housekeeping and laundry
- Observe and report any changes in the client's condition
- Maintain a safe and comfortable environment
Qualifications
- Must be able to communicate effectively in Persian/Farsi
- At least 1 year of caregiving experience preferred
- Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Negative TB test or willingness to complete required testing
