About the job
Cornerstone Caregiving is seeking a compassionate, state-registered Home Care Aide to support a local hospice client. We are looking for someone with a heart for end-of-life care who can provide dignity and comfort in the home.
The Schedule
- 4-hours
- Day Shifts
What you’ll do
- Provide personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
- Offer companionship and emotional support to the client and family.
- Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation as needed
- Provide medication reminders.
California State Requirements
- HCA Registry: Must be currently registered on the California Home Care Aide Registry (or willing to register).
- Background Check: Must have a cleared Live Scan (DOJ/FBI) background check.
- TB Clearance: Recent negative TB test results required.
- Training: Must complete the state-mandated 5 hours of initial orientation/safety training before starting (we can help with this!).
- Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
