Community Skilled Health Care Centre is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team. We are looking for a strong nursing leader who is passionate about resident care, staff development, and maintaining high clinical standards.
Responsibilities
- Support the Director of Nursing with daily nursing department operations.
- Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure quality resident care.
- Monitor clinical practices, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
- Assist with staffing, scheduling, and ensuring adequate nursing coverage.
- Participate in audits, care planning, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to nursing staff.
- Help maintain a safe, compassionate, and resident-centered environment.
Qualifications
- Current, active RN or LPN license, as required by state regulations.
- Previous nursing leadership experience preferred.
- Long-term care or skilled nursing facility experience preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of nursing standards, regulatory requirements, and clinical documentation.
- A commitment to quality care and resident satisfaction.
