Qualifications – Director of Nursing (DON)
- Knowledge of legal regulations and healthcare best practices
- Ability to lead and develop personnel
- Strong communication and people skills
- Organizational and stress management skills
- Problem-solving aptitude
- RN (Registered Nurse) license in the state of Missouri
Duties and Responsibilities – Director of Nursing (DON)
- Direct, oversee, and evaluate nursing personnel (RNs, LPNs, etc.)
- Set objectives and long-term goals for the nursing department
- Develop and enforce policies for legal compliance and quality standards
- Control budgets and monitor expenditures
- Resolve issues and deficiencies as needed
- Manage record-keeping procedures
Experience – Director of Nursing (DON)
- Active RN license in the state of Missouri.
- Previous Director of Nursing experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF).
