Salary Range: $17-$26 per Hour
The Medical Records Clerk will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Maintain patient records via data entry of non-drug orders
- Verify accuracy of medication orders
- Medical terminology required for maintenance of diagnosis
- Print quality assurance required monthly forms for assigned facilities
- Print and provide reports to assigned facilities on a daily, weekly and/or monthly basis
- Provide stock forms to facilities when requested
- Scan monthly recaps into Docutrack
- Answer phones
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
Professional Experience
- 1 year experience in medical records
- Familiar with Medical Terminology, QA, brand name/generic medications and strong knowledge of SIG Codes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Problem solving skills
- Organized
- Detail Oriented
- Must be able to work in a face paced environment
- Must be able to multi-task
- Strong customer service skills
