About the job
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Calvado Care LLC. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping our patients regain independence and reach their full potential. Our commitment to providing high-quality care and supportive environment makes us a unique and rewarding place to work. This is a Pool position that will require flexibility to work at our three locations Gasport, Allegany and Aurora Park.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement individualized occupational therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patient needs and goals
- Provide hands-on therapy interventions, including exercises, activities, and education to improve patient function and mobility
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continually improve patient outcomes
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy preferred
- Valid New York State Occupational Therapy license
- Zero years of experience (new graduates welcome to apply)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and customer service
