Job Summary

BrightCare HomeCare, a home care agency located in Covington, Louisiana, is seeking an experienced Office Manager to join our team. As an integral part of our organization, the Office Manager will be responsible for coordinating office functions, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring compliance with state, federal, and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage all office functions and processes, including clerical, personnel, medical records, office machines, and payroll
• Assist in the billing process and financial functions as needed
• Oversee Agency communications, including pagers, telephones, mail, and tracking of physician orders
• Promote compliance with all state and federal regulations
• Utilize effective interpersonal relations and communication skills
• Stay current with changes in home health regulations
• Present a positive image to customers, promoting Agency philosophy and mission
• Perform other duties as required, including recruiting and training as needed

Requirements

• Experience: 3 years of experience in Home Care, with a background in office management and human resources
• Education: High School Graduate (College Preferred)
• Skills: Knowledge of office machines, computer skills, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Transportation: Reliable transportation and valid auto liability insurance

Preferred Qualifications

• WellSky experience
• Experience with caregiving and scheduling
• College degree in a related field
