Job Summary
BrightCare HomeCare, a leading provider of home care services in Louisiana, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. As a Caregiver with BrightCare HomeCare, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities, injuries, or illnesses by providing personalized care and support in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, personalized care to clients in their homes, including assistance with daily living activities, wound care, and medication management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
- Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and understanding in all interactions with clients and their loved ones
- Maintain accurate records of client care services, including notes, progress reports, and incident reports
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet clients' unique needs and goals
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry best practices and regulations
Requirements
- Caregiver experience required, 1 year
- Ability to lift, transfer, and move clients as needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if required for the position)
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
