As a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) , you will be responsible for administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily living activities for our residents. You will work closely with our nursing staff to ensure that our residents receive the care they need to thrive. Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including the use of walkers, wheelchairs, and other assistive devices
- Report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of care for our residents
Requirements
- Current Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and move residents as needed
