About the Role
The Weekend CNA is responsible for providing direct patient care to our residents on the weekends. This includes assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as monitoring vital signs and documenting patient information. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional care and a commitment to exceeding patient expectations.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities and vital sign monitoring
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication
- Provide emotional support and companionship to our patients and their families
Requirements
- Current CNA certification in the state of Texas
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
