About the Role
As a Speech-Language Pathologist , you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of residents, assessing and treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders to improve communication and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assess and develop individualized treatment plans for speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Conduct speech and language evaluations, as well as cognitive and swallowing screenings
- Provide speech and language therapy services to residents, including group and individual sessions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of resident progress and treatment plans
Requirements
- Master's degree or Doctorate in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Missouri
- Experience working with post-acute care or skilled nursing facility residents preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
