This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00). Traveler will work 1 weekend shift every 4 weeks.

Job Description

The Surgical Technologist will support surgical procedures, working alongside surgeons and clinical staff in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with various surgical procedures and be proficient in using Epic for charting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing the operating room for surgical procedures.
• Ensure necessary instruments and supplies are available and sterile.
• Assist during surgical procedures by providing instruments and support to the surgical team.
• Participate in patient care before, during, and after surgery.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in the surgical area and adhere to all safety guidelines.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of surgical technology experience.
• Previous charge experience preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS certification.
• NBSTSA or NCCT certification required.
