Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift
Day shifts of either 8 or 10 hours per day, with rotating on-call requirements. This position requires working two major holiday blocks: Thanksgiving and the weekend after Christmas Eve through New Year’s Day.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse will provide care to a diverse patient population, including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics within a Trauma Level III facility. The role involves circulating experience in the Operating Room, with preferred scrub experience. Proficiency is needed in general, OB, ortho, ENT, trauma, plastics, and ophthalmology procedures. Familiarity with the Cerner EMR system is also required.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care in the Operating Room.
- Assist in various surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment.
- Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals.
- Document patient care accurately in the Cerner EMR system.
- Participate in on-call rotations as scheduled.
Required Experience
- Circulating experience in the Operating Room is required.
- Previous travel experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Certifications/Licensure
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
- Active American Heart Association ACLS certification.
- Active American Heart Association PALS certification.
- Current and valid nursing license for New Hampshire.
