This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift
Day shift, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, guaranteed 36 hours per week, working one weekend per month (16 hours every 4th weekend).
Job Description
As a Registered Nurse in Home Health, you will provide care to all levels of home health patients. Your responsibilities include managing various medical devices and supporting patients with chronic disease management. You will have access to EMR (Epic) and be issued necessary equipment such as a laptop and cell phone.
Responsibilities
- Manage PICC lines and Portacaths.
- Oversee wound vac therapy management.
- Conduct Pleurx catheter management.
- Provide ostomy teaching and management.
- Teach G-tube and JG-tube management.
- Support chronic disease management and patient education.
Required Experience
A minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical experience is required.
Certifications/Licensure
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
