Job Description

The Ultrasound Technologist will perform a variety of ultrasound procedures and ensure proper patient care during the imaging process. This role requires the individual to accurately document all findings and adhere to the facility's policies and procedures while providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams on patients of all age groups, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
• Utilize appropriate ultrasound techniques and protocols to obtain high-quality images and assist in diagnosis.
• Document patient history and relevant clinical information accurately in the charting system (preferably Epic).
• Demonstrate understanding and proficiency in different ultrasound modalities, including abdominal, obstetric, and vascular studies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly and safely.
• Collaboration with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in ultrasound technology.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
• Experience using Epic charting system is a plus.

Certifications/Licensure

• ARDMS certification required.
• Current state license in the relevant field must be in hand at submission.
• BLS certification required.
