The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
Job Description
The MRI Technologist will work in the Magnetic Resonance unit of a 400-bed hospital. The unit features 2-4 MRI scanners and operates with a team of 5-10 full-time employees. The role will include performing various MRI procedures on patients, including those in neuro and anesthesia, administering contrast agents, and operating GE and Siemens MRI equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform imaging procedures on patients, ensuring safety and compliance with protocols.
- Administer contrast agents as required.
- Work collaboratively with team members to provide care to patients, including those needing IV sedation.
- Maintain equipment and ensure high-quality images are produced.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 6 months of current MRI tech experience.
- Experience with ICU vented patients is preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- BLS certification required.
- ARRT (MR) certification preferred.
