This position requires on-call availability, rotating weekend coverage, and rotating evening shifts once a week.

Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist in Interventional Radiology will provide support in a short-term acute care environment. Responsibilities include performing interventional procedures, ensuring sterile field maintenance, and utilizing various imaging technologies. Familiarity with the Epic charting system is important for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures such as angiography, catheter placements, and embolization.
• Maintain sterile field and assist during procedures as a scrub technologist.
• Utilize imaging technologies while ensuring accurate documentation in the Epic charting system.
• Assist in equipment setup and maintenance, including inventory management.
• Provide patient care and ensure safety protocols are observed.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in interventional radiology.
• Applicable ARRT (R) and Washington State licensure required.
• Experience with 3D imaging and fluency in procedures such as nephrostomy, biliary drainage, and stent placements.

Certifications/Licensure

• ARRT (R) certification required.
• Washington State Radiologic Technologist licensure required.
• BLS certification required.
• ARRT (VI) or CCI RCIS preferred.
