Shift is from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with on-call requirements of 1 night a week and 1 weekend per month.
Job Description
This position is for an Interventional Radiology unit with 5 IR suites, operating primarily in a fast-paced, teamwork environment. The unit is a Comprehensive Stroke Center and Level 1 Trauma Center, providing care for a variety of conditions.
Responsibilities
- Assist with neuro interventional procedures, including strokes, aneurysms, and subarachnoid hemorrhages.
- Perform vascular interventional radiology procedures with minimal guidance.
- Utilize equipment including Siemens Bi-plane and Single-plane systems.
- Document and maintain patient records using Meditech and GE Centricity PACS.
- Provide support to the Interventional Radiology RN and team members.
Required Experience
Minimum 6 months of current acute care hospital experience as an IR Tech is required.
Certifications/Licensure
- ARRT (R) certification is required.
- BLS certification is required.
