Job Description

The Licensed Vocational Nurse at Crossroads Urgent Care will assist providers and registered nurses in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include rooming patients, taking vitals, administering medications (PO, IM, SQ), providing wound care, and preparing for minor procedures. You will also conduct pre-employment physical exams and manage patient communications regarding test results.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers and registered nurses with patient care.
• Take vitals and room patients.
• Administer medications and provide wound care.
• Conduct pre-employment physical exams.
• Set up for minor procedures and manage patient messaging.

Required Experience

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in an urgent care setting required.
• Knowledge of electronic EMR systems.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current IV certification required.
• Certification in Pediatric and Adult care preferred.
• ACLS, BLS certifications preferred.
