Job Opportunity: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Starting Pay: Competitive base rates up to $25.50 per hour based on licensure, shift, hours, and experience plus shift differentials

Differentials Offered

• Shift Differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts and weekends
• Additional Shifts Differential: Extra $5.00/hour for any shifts worked outside scheduled hours

Available Shifts

• 7am-3pm- Full-time and part-time
• 3pm-11pm- Full-time and part-time
• Per diem all shifts

Responsibilities: Assists residents in daily bathing, grooming, dental care, bowel and bladder functions, dressing, walking and wheelchair use, positioning in and out of bed. Certified Nursing Assistant documents personal care given according to facility policies. Provides nursing functions as directed including perineal care, making beds, turning residents, measures and records temperature, weight, pulse and respiration. Certified Nursing Assistant observes and reports to supervisor changes in residents’ condition, including any skin breakdowns. Reports immediately all accidents or injuries. Records all necessary charting entries. Answers all call lights regardless of assignment. Responds to emergency situations calmly and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Must hold current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing.
• No history of patient/resident abuse as per State Registry.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and following oral and written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent follow-through, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Team player with good cooperation and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrates patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude towards residents and their support networks.

Additional Expectations: Per diem staff are expected to fulfill (2) weekend shifts monthly to meet requirements.
