📅 Schedule: 4 hours every other week (preferably Wednesday) | Non- smoking and no pets in the home.
Some people are called to care. If you're one of them - and you have a heart for the elderly - this opportunity is for you. AmeriCare Plus, LLC is seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver (CNA, NA, or PCA) to provide in-home personal care to a female client in Nellysford, VA. This is a smoke-free, pet-free home with a flexible schedule - a great fit for someone who values meaningful one-on-one work.
Additional hours available, if willing to travel.
Responsibilities
- Assist client with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing
- Support mobility and transfers (e.g., bed to wheelchair)
- Prepare light meals
- Provide medication reminders
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Perform light housekeeping duties
- Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior
Requirements
- CNA, NA, or PCA certification (online training provided for those interested in PCA certification)
- Reliable transportation and valid Virginia driver's license
- Social Security card & 2 professional references
- Must pass background check per State and Federal requirements
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Respectful and professional demeanor - experience with or appreciation for veterans a plus
