Always Best Care Senior Services - Midlothian is seeking dedicated and compassionate male Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to provide exceptional care to our senior clients in Midlothian, VA. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, promoting independence, and ensuring their comfort and safety in their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers.
- Support clients with medication reminders and simple housekeeping tasks.
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to supervisors.
- Maintain client dignity and respect at all times.
- Develop a trusting relationship with clients and their families.
Requirements
- Male candidates preferred for this position.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in personal care or caregiver preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, compassionate, and able to work independently.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
