Job Summary
Always Best Care of Greater Bristol is seeking experienced Caregivers to join our team in New Milford, CT. As a Caregiver, you will provide non-medical care and support to seniors in their own homes, assisting with daily routines, household tasks, and providing companionship. Primary Responsibilities
- Provide daily routine care such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Responsible for house maintenance when applicable
- Answer phone calls for clients when necessary
- Converse with patients to provide assurance
- Observe Universal Precautions
- Provide patient transportation to doctor appointments, outside activities, and shopping
- Provide patient laundry and linen changes
- Light housekeeping
- Provide medication reminders
- Meal preparation and clean up
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Non-Medical Caregiver required
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Must have Cell Phone/ Tablet
