Laurelwood Health Care Center is a 64-bed skilled nursing facility providing short- and long-term rehab care, Dementia Care, and Psychiatric Care that feels personal, respectful, and heartfelt. Join a team always striving to grow and improve the quality of life for those we serve.

➡️ About the Location- Jackson, TN

Located along the Music Highway halfway between Memphis and Nashville, Jackson is where the sounds of country and blues collide - home of Rockabilly King Carl Perkins and the start of the Rockabilly Highway. Jackson, Tennessee, is in Madison County. It is a mid-sized city that has roots in railroads and industry, and today it blends that heritage with a growing arts and music scene. It is a comfortable, family-friendly city that balances small-town charm with modern conveniences.

✅ Responsibilities

• Develop and implement therapy programs and services that meet the needs of patients and are consistent with the healthcare organization's mission and values
• Provide leadership and guidance to therapy staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Manage day-to-day therapy department operations, ensuring services are delivered in a timely, efficient, patient-centered manner.
• Develop and manage therapy department budgets, ensuring resources are allocated appropriately and aligned with organizational priorities.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and treatment plans.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as insurance companies, referral sources, and community organizations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards for therapy services.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of therapy programs and services and make recommendations for improvements.
• Stay up to date with developments in therapy research, technology, and best practices, and incorporate them into therapy programs and services as appropriate.

✔️ Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy/Assistant Program OR Speech-Language Pathologist
• Must have management experience in skilled nursing.
• Current license or eligible for support under statutes in the state of practice.
• Must have BLS CPR certification upon hire or obtain it during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
