About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will provide high-quality, one-on-one care to our clients, helping them with daily living activities, managing their medical conditions, and maintaining their overall well-being. Your expertise and kindness will help our clients maintain their independence and dignity, allowing them to age in place with comfort and confidence.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist clients with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication management
- Help clients with mobility and transfers, including walker or wheelchair use
- Monitor and report changes in client condition or behavior to the healthcare team
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client care and services provided
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, helping to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation
Requirements
- 0 years of experience as a caregiver or in a related field
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift, bend, and move with ease
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if applicable)
- Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassion and empathy for seniors and their unique needs
