AdviniaCare Waterview Villa, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in East Providence, RI is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our rehab team. In this role, you’ll help residents regain independence and improve their quality of life while working alongside a supportive, collaborative team. New graduates are welcome to apply!
What you’ll do
- Screen and evaluate residents, and develop individualized plans of care
- Provide individual, concurrent and group treatment under physician orders
- Train residents, families and caregivers to support progress and safety
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning
- Supervise and support COTAs, aides and students as needed
- Complete timely, accurate documentation in line with Medicare and other payer guidelines
- Contribute to clinical program development and quality improvement initiatives
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active Rhode Island OT license (or eligibility)
- Knowledge of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations
- Strong communication, organization and time-management skills
- Ability to work effectively with residents, families and staff from diverse backgrounds
- Skilled nursing experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
