Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our Night Shift team at the Westchester Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing in Mount Vernon, New York. As a Registered Nurse Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, while providing leadership and guidance to the nursing staff. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff on the Night Shift, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and compassionate care
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' needs, monitoring their condition and reporting changes to physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless transitions and optimal care
- Provide education and guidance to nursing staff, promoting continuous learning and professional development
- Maintain accurate and detailed records , adhering to regulatory requirements and facility policies
Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor Requirements
- Prior experience as a Registered Nurse
- Current New York State RN license
- Current work authorization
- Strong leadership and communication skills , with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team
- Excellent clinical skills , with the ability to assess patients' needs and develop effective care plans
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills , with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
