Position Details
Shifts Available
Full Time/Part Time 2p-10p and 10p-6a
Rate: Up to $26/hour PLUS night and weekend shift differential
Key Responsibilities
As a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA), you will
- Verify the identity of patients receiving medication and accurately record the drug name, dosage, and administration time.
- Administer prescribed medications, observe ingestion or application, and ensure proper documentation.
- Monitor patient responses to medications, take vital signs, and report unexpected reactions to designated personnel.
- Document reasons for any missed medication doses.
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and assisting during examinations or treatments.
- Manage medication supplies by receiving, mixing, and assembling drugs for patient administration.
- Record and restock medication inventories as needed.
Work the floor as needed
Qualifications
- Successful completion of a state-approved Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) program.
- Completion of Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) designation requirements.
