About the job
Do you enjoy helping people and being there when they need a little extra support? Visiting Angels is looking for caring and dependable caregivers in Philadelphia, especially those who live near Thomas Jefferson University Hospital Emergency Department . We’re looking for people who genuinely care about others and want to do work that feels meaningful at the end of the day.
What You’ll Do
- Spend time with clients and provide companionship
- Help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care
- Assist with walking, transfers, and everyday activities
- Prepare meals and provide medication reminders
- Help with light housekeeping and laundry
- Assist with errands and transportation when needed
- Follow the client’s care plan
- Keep the office or family informed about changes in the client’s needs
- Most importantly, help clients feel comfortable, safe, and cared for
What We’re Looking For
- At least 2 years of professional caregiving experience
- CNA, HHA, PCA, or home-care experience is a plus
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable vehicle and Reliable transportation
- Recent TB test or willingness to complete the required testing
- Reliable, patient, and compassionate
- Someone who treats clients with kindness and respect
