Job Summary

Village Caregiving is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to fill the position of In-home Caregiver in Glasgow, KY at their branch in Bowling Green. This is a part-time, hourly healthcare/medical job that will involve providing care and assistance to clients in their homes. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting the physical, emotional, and social well-being of clients while maintaining a safe and healthy environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities including mobility, bathing, grooming, and meal preparation
• Administer medications and monitor client's health as directed by a healthcare professional
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Accompany clients to appointments or activities as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
• Document and report any significant changes in client's health status

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in caregiving or a related field preferred
• Certification in CPR and First Aid
• Ability to pass a background check
• Compassionate and patient demeanor
• Physical ability to perform duties such as lifting and transferring clients
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
