Evening Shift Certified Nursing Assistant
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our evening shift team at The Gardens at Country, a premier senior living community in Swansea, Massachusetts. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents. Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Assist with nutrition and hydration, including feeding and hydration as needed
- Observe and report changes in resident condition, including any unusual behavior or concerns
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care and interactions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents and their families
- Participate in ongoing training and education to improve skills and knowledge
Requirements
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Massachusetts
- Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to care
