Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance to clients with dementia, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility
• Monitor and report changes in client condition, including medication side effects and behavioral changes
• Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with clients, families, and healthcare providers
• Maintain accurate and timely records of client care and services provided
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support

Requirements

• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the State of Florida
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or specialized training in gerontology or related field preferred
• Experience working with seniors with dementia or other cognitive impairments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes
