As a Caregiver 12hr Shifts at Safe and Sound Home Care, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional, compassionate care to our clients in Hernando, Mississippi. Our family-owned company is dedicated to helping the elderly and disabled live safely and independently at home, and we're seeking professional, caring individuals to join our team.
About the Role
As a Caregiver 12hr Shifts , you will be responsible for providing one-on-one care to clients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities, and promoting independence. Your duties will include:
- Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Providing medication reminders and management
- Assisting with mobility and transferring clients
- Preparing meals and snacks
- Providing companionship and social support
- Maintaining a safe and clean living environment
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
Requirements
- Minimum of 0 years of experience in a healthcare setting (training provided)
- Ability to work varied shifts, including 12-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to client care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift, bend, and move clients as needed
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if applicable)
