Right at Home Cleveland West, a leading provider of in-home care and assistance, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Direct Support Professional (DSP) with an active Med Cert 3 to join our team. Our mission is to provide high-quality, person-centered care that supports seniors and vulnerable adults in living safely and independently at home.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer and manage client medications in accordance with Med Cert 3 authorization and care plans
- Support clients with mobility needs, including gait belt and Hoyer lift use when required
- Provide companion care, emotional support, and supervision to ensure client safety
- Perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, and home support tasks
- Monitor and report any changes in client condition, behavior, or health status
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care team
- Follow all agency policies, documentation standards, and individualized care plans
What We Are Looking For
- Active Med Cert 3 certification (required)
- Experience in direct care or caregiving preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background checks
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
