Parkview Health , the largest non-profit health system in northeast Indiana, is currently seeking a board eligible/board certified Hospitalist - Nocturnist to join our well established Hospital Medicine team in Fort Wayne, Indiana !

Specifics of the Hospitalist Role

• Nocturnist Role for 0.9 FTE: 126 Night shifts
• 1 week on/2week off schedule option is available (18 weeks per year)
• Responsibilities include admissions, coverage of codes and rapid response coverage

• Our group is based out of Parkview’s flagship hospital, Parkview Regional Medical Center , located on the north side of Fort Wayne, Indiana and our urban-sized hospital, Parkview Hospital Randallia

Parkview Hospital Randallia

• 195 beds
• Closed ICU model
• Primary clinical site for Internal Medicine Residency program with four dedicated teaching teams
• Opportunities to participate in teaching, mentorship, and education of IM residents
• Weekly in-person educational conferences for CME credit

• 500-bed state-of-the-art facility
• Closed ICU model

Job Requirements for Nurse Practitioner

• Graduate of an accredited Master of Science in Nursing program (DNP optional)
• Current or pending state license for Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
• Current or pending certification by an approved professional certification organization
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred.

Job Requirements for Physician Assistant

• Graduate of a Masters’ degree program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant Program (ARC-PA).
• Current or pending state license
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physician Assistant preferred.

Certifications as required by specialty which may be but are not limited to:

• BLS through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• ACLS/ACLS-EP
• PALS
• ATLS
• CSR
