Something for everyone
We have something for everyone, whether you want a dynamic workflow, work-life balance, or a team that feels like family. We take a family approach here: we treat our staff and our residents like family. Leaders roll up their sleeves, and we look out for each other. Park Place is a 189-bed facility that shares a campus with our local hospital and has our own full-time physician on site five days a week, so support and resources are close at hand. With Montana's first long-term ventilator and tracheostomy unit on site, you can build high-acuity respiratory skills without leaving the state.
What you'll do
- Monitor and record vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure and oxygen saturation, and complete thorough assessments, including respiratory status, to catch changes or complications
- Assist with ventilator management: set up and adjust settings as prescribed and ensure the ventilator works properly
- Give medications as ordered, often sedatives, analgesics and bronchodilators, and monitor effects
- Provide airway suctioning, tracheostomy care and nebulizer treatments
- Document progress, interventions and ventilator settings, and work with physicians, respiratory therapists and the team on care plans
- Teach and support patients and families, and follow strict infection control practices
- Respond to emergencies and ventilator alarms
What you bring
- Active, unencumbered RN license in Montana or a compact state
- ACLS certification, or willing to obtain within the first 2 weeks
- At least 6 months of hospital experience; ICU or ER preferred
