Serenity Hospice – Lehigh, Northampton, Berks & Monroe Counties, Pennsylvania
Serenity Hospice is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant to join our hospice care team serving Lehigh, Northampton, Berks, and Monroe Counties .
This part-time weekend position is ideal for a CNA who is passionate about providing comfort, dignity, and personalized care to hospice patients while supporting their families during an important time in their lives.
Position Highlights
- Part-time weekend schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Flexible scheduling options: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday OR Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
- Mileage reimbursement provided
- 401(k) enrollment available
- Paid Time Off (PTO) available
- Supportive interdisciplinary hospice team
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living for hospice patients
- Assist patients with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility
- Observe and report changes in patient condition to the hospice nurse
- Provide compassionate support to patients and their families
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care
- Follow established care plans and hospice policies and procedures
- Promote patient comfort, dignity, and quality of life
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
- Hospice, home health, or long-term care experience preferred
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- Strong communication, observation, and teamwork skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel to patients’ homes throughout the assigned territory, including Lehigh, Northampton, Berks, and Monroe Counties
