Job Summary

Ocean Gardens Care Center, a premier healthcare facility in Queens, New York, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Resident Escort/Nursing Clerical to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless delivery of patient care and supporting our clinical teams in providing exceptional care to our residents.

Responsibilities

• Escort residents to and from various appointments, tests, and treatments
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
• Assist with vital signs and other basic care tasks as needed
• Perform clerical duties, including data entry, filing, and answering phones
• Facilitate communication between residents, families, and healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate records and reports
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team meetings

Requirements

• 1 years of experience preferred, but training will be provided
• CNA License
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on patient care and safety
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies (minimum 25 lbs)
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the facility
• Availability to work varied shifts
