About the Role

The Unit Secretary is responsible for providing administrative support to the nursing staff, patients, and families at our Lake Park facility. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our unit, providing exceptional patient care, and promoting a positive and respectful work environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, families, and visitors, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere
• Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, medical charts, and files
• Coordinate with nursing staff to maintain efficient and effective communication
• Assist with scheduling and coordinating patient appointments, surgeries, and procedures
• Provide administrative support to the nurse manager and other staff members
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMRs) and practice management systems
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold HIPAA regulations
