As a Weekend Occupational Therapist (OT) at Morristown Post Acute Rehabilitation & Nursing, you will play a vital role in our multidisciplinary team, providing exceptional care to our residents. Our state-of-the-art center features a newly renovated, 5-story facility with cutting-edge post-acute care and rehabilitation services.
About the Role
As a Weekend Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with our rehabilitation team to develop and implement individualized therapy plans for our residents. Your expertise in occupational therapy will enable our residents to regain independence and confidence in their daily lives. You will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans for residents
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify resident needs and goals
- Design and lead occupational therapy sessions to improve residents' functional abilities and independence
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of resident progress and therapy sessions
- Participate in staff education and training programs to enhance clinical knowledge and skills
