What You'll Do
As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and mobility
- Measure and document vital signs while accurately recording resident care
- Observe residents for changes in condition and promptly communicate concerns to the nursing team
- Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation using proper safety techniques
- Provide compassionate, respectful, and individualized care that promotes dignity and independence
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
- Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members
- Support nurses and the interdisciplinary team in delivering exceptional care
Qualifications
- Current North Carolina Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- CPR certification preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused attitude
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Commitment to teamwork and providing outstanding resident care
