Job Summary

Magnolia Gardens Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will provide quality patient care and implement individualized treatment plans focused on improving residents’ strength, mobility, function, and overall quality of life.

We are looking for a team-oriented professional who is passionate about helping residents reach their therapy goals in a supportive skilled nursing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide treatments as directed by a licensed Physical Therapist and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Assist residents with exercises and therapeutic activities designed to improve strength, balance, mobility, and functional independence.
• Monitor residents’ responses to treatment and communicate progress or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments and resident progress.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and a team-building approach when working with residents, families, and colleagues.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team and other facility staff to support quality resident care.
• Maintain consistent attendance and follow facility policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing quality resident care.
