Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team at Laurel Park Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Elizabeth City, NC . As an ADON, you will play a key role in supporting clinical operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining high-quality resident care in our skilled nursing facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily nursing operations
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations
- Support and mentor nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
- Participate in staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and training
- Monitor quality assurance, infection control, and patient safety initiatives
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident outcomes
- Assist with surveys, audits, and corrective action plans
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of North Carolina (required)
- Prior experience in skilled nursing or long-term care (required)
- Previous leadership or supervisory nursing experience (required)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
