Kindly Direct Care is hiring a dependable, caring Community Companion to provide one-to-one support to an adult with developmental disabilities in Toms River, New Jersey. Help make community outings, everyday activities, and personal goals more attainable through steady, respectful companionship.

What you’ll do

• Spend time together and provide companionship during community activities.
• Encourage independence, social connection, and progress toward personal goals.
• Support activities and routines according to the individual’s needs and guidance.
• Follow individualized instructions, prioritize safety, and complete required service documentation.
• Stay in communication with the Kindly Direct Care team and keep the agreed schedule.

Schedule and location

• Two weekday shifts per week, 5:00–8:00 p.m.
• A few additional hours on either Saturday or Sunday.
• Toms River, NJ. Driving during shifts is required.

Pay: $17–$22 per hour.

What you’ll need

• A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Dependability and a consistent commitment to the agreed schedule; the individual and family count on it.
• Patience, respect, and comfort providing one-to-one support.
• Willingness to complete onboarding, background checks, and required training.
