About the job
Job Summary
Home Matters Caregiving is seeking passionate caregivers to provide exceptional care and companionship to seniors in their homes. As a caregiver with our organization, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients, participate in our caregiver rewards and recognition program, and grow professionally within our supportive, team-oriented culture.
Responsibilities
- Execute client care plans and document daily activities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living
- Provide clients with household assistance, including food preparation, laundry, and light housekeeping
- Provide clients with personal care assistance, including hygienic care, mobility assistance, and medication assistance
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Preferred to have at least 1 year of caregiving experience with the senior population
- Must have sufficient communication and language skills to effectively perform duties
Work Environment
- Client homes
- Skilled, Independent, and Assisted Living Communities
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift 50 lbs. using safe, ergonomic movements
- Able to stand, walk, reach, crouch, use hands and fingers
- Able to talk, hear, and see
- Physically and mentally able to drive a vehicle
Compensation
- Job Type: Full-time/Part-time
- Pay: Starting at $18.00 per hour, depending on experience
