About the Role
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will be responsible for providing basic care and support to our patients, including:
- Assisting patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Transferring patients to/from bed, chair, or wheelchair
- Monitoring and reporting on patient vital signs and overall condition
- Assisting with feeding, toileting, and incontinence care as needed
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses and healthcare professionals
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and interactions
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned by the nursing staff
Requirements
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Florida
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift, transfer, and move patients with assistance as needed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
