RN Registered Nurse Supervisor Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of Registered Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and other healthcare personnel on the evening shift
• Develop and implement effective care plans, ensuring the delivery of individualized care to each resident
• Conduct regular rounds to monitor resident care, identify areas for improvement, and address concerns
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to resolve issues and optimize patient outcomes
• Mentor and coach nursing staff, promoting professional development and a culture of excellence
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance care delivery and patient satisfaction
• Foster a positive and respectful work environment, promoting open communication and teamwork

RN Registered Nurse Supervisor Requirements

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on long-term care or rehabilitation nursing
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities
• Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of nursing principles and practices
• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents as needed
